Energy management and environmental impact are concerning governments and businesses across the global. Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) were legally introduced from October 2008 for all buildings being built, sold or rented. The EPC is part of a series of measures being introduced across Europe to reflect legislation which will help to cut buildings carbon emissions and tackle climate change.
